Alongside the
Melanchthon project that I finished earlier this year, I have also been working on translating the sermons of
Johannes Tauler from German into English. Tauler stood out during his time (the 1300s) because he preached his sermons in German, not in Latin. Eighty of them have been left behind and have been printed in German since the late 1400s. Some of them have been translated into English, but not all of them. My goal over the next several years is to translate all of them into English. I will be sharing the first four of them here on my blog this summer.
