Amy Carmichael - Quote
"My silence speaketh to Thee, but I roam
With my poor silly thoughts, I know not where;
That undistracted I may go to prayer
O call them home."

What I'm Reading This Week - September 23
Here are some of the posts I came across this week.
The British Library has released some rare titles as ebooks. They can be downloaded and accessed through Apple’s iBookstore. Click here for more details.
Are you a Tolkien enthusiast? Have the opportunity to teach high school English? Here’s a whole treasure trove of lesson planning resources.
Are you a writer? Check out this list of more than 30 iPhone apps that can help you with your writing.
I like working on the go. Maybe you do, too. Here’s some input on how to have an office in your handbag.
Hope you have a great weekend!

Writing Goal
One of my goals this year is to write more. In order to help myself stay on track, I'm participating in the 250 Words a Day Challenge. My goal is to write 250 words each day. This will include blog posts, lesson plans, and translation and writing projects. I also hope to periodically report on how my writing is coming along. If you'd like to join up in the challenge, just follow the link above. Also, I'd love to hear about it, so leave me a comment.
Happy writing!

Yet Can I Pray
When hope is gone
-- yet can I pray.
When all has crumbled
-- yet can I pray.
When I cannot understand
-- yet can I pray.
When hurt is jagged, fierce
-- yet can I pray.
When I go through life's hardest troubles
-- yet can I pray.
My Father hears me still.

Sunset
"That Thy love sets not with sunset,
Nor with starset, nor with moon,
But is ever one high noon,
Thanks to Thee, our Father."
