30-Day Giving Challenge 2022 - Week 4

I am thankful this year to be able to take time to focus on being grateful. I'm also enjoying being able to purposefully focus on giving to others. Here are some of the opportunities I had this past week.

Here's my summary so far:
Monday - donated to the Salvation Army
Tuesday - tucked notes of encouragement into library books
Wednesday - donated to the Betsy-Tacy Society
Thursday - donated to RIP Medical Debt
Friday - donated to Doctors without Borders
Saturday - donated airline miles to Make-a-Wish
Sunday - taught a women’s class at my church

30-Day Giving Challenge 2022 - Week 3

Tuesday - donated books to Women’s Prison Book Distribution
Wednesday - donated to a hospital in Togo
Thursday - donated to Read Indeed
Friday - donated to Equal Justice Initiative
Saturday - donated to Sharon Says So’s holiday fundraiser
Sunday - helped with the music at my church

Tuesday - helped with a local women’s event
Wednesday - wrote some notes of encouragement
Thursday - wrote some notes of encouragement
Friday - donated to Room to Read
Saturday - helped with an event for girls at my church
Sunday - taught a women’s class at my church

In this session, I discuss William Tyndale, his work on translating the Bible into English, as well as some of the history of Bible translation. Please note, the KJV was published in 1611. For the life of me, I couldn’t remember the date off the top of my head.
